The Town of St. Agatha, Maine is a small rural community located in northern Aroostook County in the State of Maine. St. Agatha has a year round resident population of 747 (2010 US Census) with seasonal increases in both summer and winter as the town is home to Long Lake, a 6,000 acre and 12 mile long water body that attracts many tourists and part time residents each year. St Agatha offers many recreational opportunities such as acess to snowmobile & atv trails as well as two boat launching facilities. There is also a fitness center, tennis courts, softball field and playground.
